Did you gift friends and colleagues with your kombucha then? Or was this desgin-work for your eyes only??

I def shared a few bottles around for a lark! Good times, thanks for inspiring me to go back and look for those pictures.

It's a wonder this ugly, squishy mass creates a thing like kombucha, isn't it...?

Nature is a wonder for sure. I came to enjoy my familiarity with my SCOBY and its layered offspring. Mad scientist vibes. When it became unviable due to neglect I truly felt bad, haha. But many... trillions (?) of little creatures got to call it home for many generations so it had a great run :)
