With all of the hype around freeze drying candy like skittles and other popular treats for the holidays I decided to give it a go with lemon heads!
I decided to make these and create little homemade gifts to give to friends and family this year. What do you think of the final product?

A freeze dryer is something I can see myself buying one day.. that's great you are getting to experiment with one.
I haven't tried a freeze dried candy yet but this looks like a perfect treat for family and friends.

My little ones are candy obsessed and crafty too so now I want a freeze drier! I am thinking about those skittles as well as Mike & Ike, jelly beans and even ju-jubes as well as others.
