Hello Hive Peeps π΅π π!
I'm back to share another delightful lunch prepared with love by my wonderful wife. Today's meal featured a savory main course and a delightful dessert, both of which were absolutely delicious and a true testament to her culinary skills.
π Paksiw na Bangus π
For the main course, we had Paksiw na Bangus with a side of eggs. Paksiw na Bangus is a classic Filipino dish made with milkfish cooked in vinegar, garlic, and spices. The tangy sauce created by the vinegar and spices perfectly complemented the tender and flavorful milkfish. The addition of perfectly cooked eggs on the side made the dish even more satisfying and hearty. The balance of flavors was simply irresistible, and it brought a comforting and nostalgic taste of home to our meal.
π§ Cheesy Puto π§
For dessert, we enjoyed Cheesy Puto. Puto is a type of steamed rice cake that is soft, fluffy, and mildly sweet. Topped with melted cheese, it makes for a perfect end to a meal. The contrast between the sweetness of the puto and the savory cheese topping was absolutely delightful. This combination of textures and flavors made each bite a delightful experience. Just look at these delicious and cheesy treats:
We enjoyed this meal so much, and it made our day even more special. My wife's cooking never fails to amaze me. Each dish she prepares is a labor of love, and it truly shines through in the flavors and presentation. Sharing these meals with you all adds to the joy we experience. Thanks for letting me share a bit of our culinary experience with you all. If you ever get a chance to try these dishes, I highly recommend them!
