The name Karang Bereum Beach may be less famous than the beauty of Pasir Putih Beach in Sawarna Village. To get to this beach, visitors need around 40 minutes on foot or 15 minutes by motorbike.
Traveling up and down hills with a distance of up to 2 km from Kampung Cikaung, the village in Sawarna Village which is the most crowded with accommodation, makes Karang Bereum Beach lose its appeal.
To get to Karang Bereum beach you have to go through a suspension bridge that sways when visitors cross it. Even though it is a little shaky, this bridge is sturdy because the foundation is made of metal.
The name Karang Bereum Beach literally means red coral. This can be seen in the morning when the sun rises perfectly, the coral in the beach area will be red. It is best to go to Karang Bereum Beach in the summer, namely around May to August.
Because in this season the sunrise is usually perfect so that the coral turns red. The sun at Karang Bereum Beach will emerge from behind or teraje coral in the western part of Sawarna Village. Its reddish blue color is an attraction that is not easy to forget.
The coastline in Karang Bereum is not long, only about 200 meters long. However, if visitors want to play in the sand, they can do so at Legon Pari Beach which is located adjacent to this beach, only 500 meters away.
