RE: How do I want to keep the value of listnerds?

in The CTP Swarm2 years ago (edited)

One of the things I like about the ctp tips is that they don't leave a comment. It's a substantial improvement on the tip bot comment spam that litters everyone's blogs - there are so many bot comments sometimes that it is hard to follow the thread of conversation.

The opportunity to tip Listnerds would be great: my view is that it would be much better if the command is used with a personal comment from the tipper, rather than a standard comment from the bot.

Like the ctp tip bot, it would be a great way to distribute the token.

It is one of my favourites for that reason too!

By the way, it's not a question to make command options
!ln - with advertising
!lnh - "silent mode"

Awesome!

+1 good idea that was born in the discussion.

So I will give you a choice. Prevent bot from responding

Then a person would not be able to give me a tip? Or even, no one would be able to give me a tip?

I understand that you are trying to offer a new facility to ListNerd holders and through that to support the value of ListNerds, but I think there are a couple of things to consider.

It takes energy and attention to deal with tip bot comments. It's like a poorly designed app where you have to make too many clicks to achieve your desired outcome. It's wearing for the user: if you imagine it's not once, but many times that they are having to mentally put tip bot comments to one side in order to see manual comments from responders.

I may refuse the bot - the comments and the tip (but doesn't that defeat your purpose)? But then I still have to wade through tip bot spam comments on other people's posts.

Not certainly in that way. appearance on a live example.

I will do the same. The final choice is always the one who owns the bot. I think this is logical.
