This Sunday post will be my contribution to #sublimesunday initiated by @c0ff33a, #beautifulsunday initiated by @ace108
I found this praying mantis on top of a small table in the villa, not sure what it was doing in that place during that time of the day, because mostly it will try to find somewhere else so that it can hunt or wait for the prey to ambush easier.
But the table is really open, and nothing to hide it from the potential prey, and or a potential predator, hmmm also a potential amateur photographer like me who definitely will blow its ambush pose.
I took my camera and try to use the macro feature on the kit lens, since the natural light was quite bright, I managed to get these shots which I think was still ok. I still get the details that I wanted, although still not as good as my Canon.
It turned the ambush pose, into a defensive pose right after I tried to take some photos of it. Ready to defend itself in case I tried to make it into prey.
