Friends, hope you all are happy and healthy. Friends, today is Monday and today was a very beautiful day for me. Friends, even today I had done a free medical health checkup camp in collaboration with Indian Oil. Our aim is to make the community disease free and to bring awareness in the community that no disease should be considered small, it may take a bigger form tomorrow. We organized this camp so that if someone has a disease and does not know it, then they should come to know about it and that disease can be treated or prevented before time.
In today's camp, we saw that many people had problems related to heart, blood pressure, kidney and brain which they were not aware of. An old patient's blood pressure was 190/110 mmHg, which was much higher than normal. He came to me with the complaint of headache. This condition is called Hypertension Urgency and in this condition, if the patient is not given treatment at the right time, then it is possible that he may suffer brain hemorrhage or even paralysis. We gave treatment to this patient there and transferred him to our hospital.
There was an old woman who had no one in her house and was living her life alone. In the health check-up he complained of chest pain and in the electrocardiograph we saw that he had acute myocardial infarction which is called heart attack. He did not have money for treatment, so we transferred him to our hospital and treated him for free under the PMJAY scheme of the Government of India and saved his life. So today we saved the lives of two people.
Today my team supported me a lot throughout the day. He had done health checkup and also given treatment to many patients. He had handled emergencies at many places. Every job is a challenging task in itself and for me my team is a hero who completed their task and made many people aware about health.
