Memory Monday. The store that I loved as a child (Es-Eng)

Hace mucho tiempo que no publicaba en esta maravillosa ¨AlientoCommunity¨:  Escogí esta comunidad para publicar mis memorias de los días lunes, porque deseo motivar a todos los amigos de habla hispana a participar de una excelente iniciativa que es organizada por nuestro amigo @ericvancewalton. La idea de esta iniciativa es poder compartir semanalmente las #memoirmonday y que quede guardada para siempre en nuestra ¨cadena¨ de ¨bloques¨ para que con el correr de los años nuestros descendientes puedan leer y conocernos a través de nuestras memorias

It's been a long time since I posted on this wonderful ¨AlientoCommunity¨:  I chose this community to publish my Monday memories, because I want to motivate all Spanish-speaking friends to participate in an excellent initiative that is organized by our friend @ericvancewalton. The idea of this initiative is to be able to share #memoirmonday weekly and have it saved forever in our "chain" of "blocks" so that over the years our descendants can read and get to know us through our memories

Nuestro amigo ericvancewalton todos los días lunes, desde ahora y durante todo el año hará un post compartiendo una pregunta, y tendrás toda una semana para responder. Me encanta esta iniciativa porque nos brinda la oportunidad de compartir con el mundo nuestras memorias. Participar de la iniciativa es muy sencilla, solo tienes que mencionar ¨esta iniciativa con el link¨:  en algún lugar de tu post para que otras personas participen. En lo posible en cada post incorporar fotografías alusivas a la pregunta de cada semana, utilizar esta etiqueta #memoirmonday para que se pueda visualizar tu post, y para dar una mayor exposición a la iniciativa compartir en tus redes sociales. Tendría unos seis años de edad cuando tuve el capricho de ir hacer las compras solo sin la compañía de una persona mayor, el lugar donde me gustaba ir a comprar se llamaba ¨Doña¨¨Pancha¨ un almacén de ramos generales que estaba tan solo unos de la casa de mis abuelos; mi Madre preparaba una lista de pedido con todo lo que tenía que comprar y allí salía corriendo rumbo al negocio de la ¨Tía¨¨Pancha¨, así era como yo la nombraba, y ciertamente, la relación con la señora era como si verdaderamente era mi familiar. Cuando en la lista figuraba que tenía que comprar queso, tenía que ser queso de cascara colorada, lo que sería un queso pategras, pero muchas veces mi madre quería queso cremoso, y como la presentación del queso no era colorado, yo me ponía testarudo con la que atendía y no quería traer el queso que me quería vender la señora, ahora que lo pienso, habrá sido una situación muy frustrante para la ¨tía¨¨pancha¨ tener que discutir con un niño de seis años y convencer que el queso que yo deseaba llevar, no era el que pidió mi madre en su lista de pedido

En mi hogar teníamos dos modalidades de compras, una que hacíamos diariamente, y es la que yo iba a comprar al negocio de ¨Doña¨¨Pancha¨, el otro era una compra mensual que lo hacíamos en un negocio que se llamaba ¨supermercados¨¨Íñiguez¨ una tienda de grande superficie que tenía todos los productos de tus necesidades. A este lugar concurríamos con mi abuelo, y lo hacíamos el mismo día en que el cobraba su jubilación, mi abuelo estaba bien económicamente, se podía dar el lujo de hacer una compra mensual grande donde llenaba varios carritos de compras. Lo bueno de ir hacer las compras con mi abuelo, era cuando terminábamos de comprar, ya que nos dirigíamos a un lugar que se llamaba la ¨porteñita¨ este era una casa de comidas donde vendían las empanadas fritas más exquisitas de la ¨Ciudad¨ de ¨Corrientes¨. Las fotografías son solo a modo de ilustración, en aquella época no acostumbrábamos hacer fotografías como los hacemos en la actualidad a cada actividad que hacemos.
