I can't say I'm qualified to write on this topic but I'm a lover of people who keep pets and it's my dream to own a pet someday in the future. I feel pets need all the love they can get and so just having them when you're not ready to give the love doesn't seem fair.
Love comes in different ways including having money to cater for them, responsibilities won't go away totally but I do know now isn't the time to have one. I've been opportune to stay in a house where a lady own a pet, their relationship got me jealous I must say.
Pets are amazing and for that, I'll say every human needs a pet.

The pet to human relationships I've witness are mostly worth emulating for human to human relationships, why do I say this? Animals seem to know love in it's simplest form and give it fully even though they expect love back but would continue to give it even when some owners don't give the love back as they should.
I don't know about everyone else but I've come to realise that there's a lot to learn in love, so many human bonds are suffering , hearts are broken and pain seem to be the order of the day for many humans today. A little love would go a long way for anyone faced with hurt and pain, because of this, I can't help but see that isn't true with animals who accepts and love their owners.
A friend of mine has a puppy she loves so much and would always cuddle whenever she's home with it. It's funny how the dog gets so excited when she is being patted on her head, there's hardly a time you wouldn't smile when you look at her. I can still remember my first being in space with a pet, I found myself running away and the dog couldn't stop following me around thinking I was playing with it 😅
Their simple mindedness or innocency is so lovely, even when they are scared after being scolded looks cute lol. I've never had a pet but I know it would definitely be stress relieving to have one around.
There are a lot of benefits to having the pet human relationship, they give physical relief, emotional relief, companionship for loneliness and provide comfort. These are what many humans need in their daily living and even though we could get all these from our fellow humans, having a pet who loves you and you love back is a sweet addition.
I'm looking forward to experiencing this kind of love but until then, learning to feel loved and give love is my priority as I watch others who have found love with animals and humans even if it isn't in a balance form. Animals need love as humans need love too, so fascinating!
This is my entry to the Inleo March daily prompt and you are invited to participate in any of the daily prompts, they are fun to write on.
