Last Sunday, we heard a gospel in the church together with my small family. We know that Filipinos loved going to the church every Sunday and a few of the Filipinos go to the church every day. In my family, we go to the church and sometimes we go to the other houses to spread the words of GOD. If a member request a prayer meeting in their house, the pastor will not hesitate to decline but rather he/she will be happily agree to have a prayer meeting because that's their will and to spread the goodness of GOD.
My family went to the church last Sunday and there were a couple of people that also went there. Actually, the members here are growing slowly and before when I started going to this church, the members were small but today, as I can see, we are growing slowly. I remember the time that we are only few that will go and listen to the gospel and thanks to the Pastors that we are now growing and the chairs are almost full of members.
I can see children that were playing inside and outside just like my daughter who likes to play with other kids and likes to eat. The church is as lively as before. We do a lot of things in the church because it's a 3 hours long but nothing beats listening to them and singing with them.
We hear the good news from GOD and there were lots of verses that the pastor gave to us and recite us about the content of each of the verses. After we recite, the pastor also share his opinion and experience about the verse and told us about it. He enlighten us about that verse and how to be a good person as a whole and share on what happened on that verse itself. This is a good way to praise GOD on how good he is.
We listen as my daughter doing her stuffs that she likes. I can see that she is also enjoying herself in the church and we told her that it is important to listen to the gospel. Sometimes, she listens and sings together with us if she is in a good mood and sometimes, she will watch videos on the internet.
After an hour sitting on the chair and listening, I didn't knew that I didn't ate my breakfast because my stomach is aching and crumbling. Then I realize that I didn't eat breakfast yet because we were busy preparing stuffs and as for me, I woke up late and take a bath but didn't bother to eat my breakfast.
I excuse myself to go to the nearest carenderia to eat my breakfast and to fill up my empty stomach. I'm glad that the carenderia is near our church and as I look at all their viands, I saw a lechon (roasted Pig).
This is one of my favorite food, so I ordered this one because they have a serving for lechon and this serving only costs almost a dollar with rice. Then I went to the church again to continue hearing the good news.
