RE: A Sunday Celebration- From Kid to Adult

in Family & Friends2 months ago

Happy birthday to your son! A lot of good wishes from me. Don't let him go out too early 😄 make sure he has savings, understands investment and stay away from credit cards 😂. Also, don't fuck around with IRS, more young adults needed to hear this. One thing I learnt about American economy is that you guys have things like 401k and Roth IRA that it could be beneficial to understand all these early.

Thank you for the wishes for him and very good advice that I need to address to him. He's kind of spends as quick as he gets money. The funny thing is that he is going for a Business Major, haha. Oh the IRS, oh yucky taxes but yes pay them and on time. Also by all means file, a lot of young people usually get refunds so I don't understand why some don't do it.

Yes there are things here if you start early with can be very beneficial later. I didn't get on the train super early but got onto to it before it was considered late. Now it may lead to me retiring early 😁 Take care.

If there's one thing I wouldn't want to mess with is the IRS. I have a few acquaintances getting trouble with it and that sends me a signal, just don't fuck with them. Have him check out this youtube channel by Caleb Hammer, it's entertaining and some ridiculous examples on personal finance.

😄 It's always nice to retire early, debt free and you can do whatever you want with the time. I hope you get to do it soon!
