2023 Was filled with lots of Emotional trauma, loss of loved ones, pains, stress, agony and suffering but above all it comes with success, laughter and spending the last day of the year with family. Am really anxious about one thing though: "What will 2024 bring to me?"
There is a saying "Do not read Your future", now I know the reason why maybe because the future can't be read. Am really anticipating what 2024 will bring to me, is it a mixture of both pain and joy or a mixture of sorrows and love.
There is only one way to find out and that's walking through it.
I wrote a post some time ago in the hive learners community about me fulfilling my wish by going for a horse ride during my festive holiday in Lagos state. Maybe sometimes the future can be predicted.
I won't say this is the best festive holiday so far because there are more to come. But spending it with family really beats all. Starting the new year with a visit to the beach with my family was really comforting.
I finally fulfilled my wish of going for that horse ride. I have had a long history with this beach. 7 years ago, Hubby took me to Sanko Beach when I visited his family for the first time. 7 years ago we were still at the university and were courting. I had no idea I would be visiting the beach again with my son and the man who took me here 7 years ago, maybe the future can't be predicted lolz
It's been one hell of a journey. Getting into 2024 for the first time, something smells different not fishy but certain My new motto in 2023 was. "Render value By giving service" it's that simple and I am glad I fulfilled that even if it backfired and some people tend to use my good deeds against me.
This year 2024 My new motto is quite short and straight to the point . And that is "Money Must Be Made" One sure thing I've learnt and begin with is that nothing beats an understanding Family, A loving family is the ultimate, a peaceful home Is the best, making memories with family is something that brings happiness for a long time.
I'll be going back home by Friday, what an adventure this has been. All in all there is no place like home, I miss my warm soft fluffy king size bed and cooking in my aromatic kitchen.
