Hello dear Hivers, how are you doing? How was your weekend? Hopefully you are all doing amazing! My last weekend seemed like not too good to share. My child was sick yesterday, I felt a little emotional or carried away. I really can't bear it if my child is sick, of course what mother can bear to see her child sick. My son at that time drank too much milk and his stomach seemed too full so he vomited while he was sleeping. From there he also had a stomach ache and I took him to the doctor the next day. My child was weak and not as active as usual. He complained of stomach ache and still vomited several times. I thought for a moment when I saw my child who had grown up and was spoiled by me. For now, thank God, my child is fine. Then I think somehow I want to share some of the beautiful moments on every birthday.
Why do I really want to share every year's birthday moments? Because every year we have a different theme and I think it's interesting to always remember the moments it in this community.
My son's name is Darren Ricardo Setiawan and he was born on September 12th, 2017. In 2018 he turned 1 year old, and we celebrated his birthday quite lively. We rented a Chinese Food restaurant and there we prepared decorations, tarts and souvenirs for guests who came. In fact, only our family was invited. We used the Baby Shark theme because at that time Darren really liked Baby Shark because he often watched Baby Shark on YouTube. The room was decorated in blue as the theme. I remember at that time my father or Darren’s grandpa was still there and he came all the way from Surabaya to my city Malang on his own motorbike to attend my son's 1 year birthday event. I always miss him.
In 2019, on my son's 2nd birthday, in the morning we just took photos of Darren and the tart cake and in the evening we had a dinner together with my mother's family and friends. Because it coincided with my aunt's birthday too, we celebrated that birthday together so there were 2 tart cakes there. There we also invited our church pastor to pray for us too.
The theme we have for Darren's 2nd birthday is Poli cars, because he started to like the Poli cars he watched on TV. His second year tart seemed like the biggest tart he had during his birthday, especially compared to Darren's small body. Hehehe
In 2021, I couldn’t believe Darren would be 4 years old. We also didn’t celebrate it on a large scale. At that time we only prepared decorations in our house, in the living room. We bought decorations in an online shop and decorated the walls of the house with balloons and colorful curtains. The theme that year was Mickey Mouse. At that time, Darren really liked Mickey Mouse because he watched it every day on YouTube, so he wanted his birthday to be Mickey Mouse themed. I also bought his t-shirt from an online shop with a picture of Mickey Mouse. Cute huh!
In 2022, Darren will be 5 years old!! yeah!! It doesn't feel like Darren's body also looks taller and bigger, he has also started going to kindergarten this year. This birthday was special because he celebrated it at school together with his classmates and teachers. he looked happier because the event was busy and many people were praying for him too. His friends also looked very happy with Darren's birthday event at school. they all had fun. we distributed cakes or souvenirs to Darren's friends and his teachers. we sang Happy Birthday together so Darren was very happy. The tarts at that time were themed Cars! inspired by the film Cars where the main character is a red racing car, yes, but I forget his name. ha ha ha. At that age, Darren started to like cars, of course the bigger he liked it, the more like an adult he became.
In fact, we were celebrating 5th Darren's birthday at home too :D

When his last birthday arrived in 2023, Darren turned 6 years old!! I thank God that Darren has been given the age of 6 years and that all this time God has always looked after and accompanied my child. Last birthday we celebrated at Pizza Hut again and at his grandmother's house. We bought a Spiderman themed tart. Yes, just the Spiderman character because he is now happy with Spiderman. Don't forget that Darren's t-shirt also has Spiderman on it!!
What's unique and special about Darren's 6th birthday is that he has 2 tarts! hahaha. So cool! I bought and ordered the one tart cake, and the other tart came from his grandmother who made it herself for Darren with the same theme, Spiderman. What a lucky! ^^
