After some bad news in the family due to different bad events, we were finally able to celebrate something good, beautiful and joyful, all together around my cousin Natalia.
Last Saturday we celebrated her first communion, an important act for Christians and for which she had been preparing for a couple of years in catechesis.
For such a special occasion, my cousin dressed up in her first communion dress and frankly seeing her is like seeing a little medieval princess in this picture with her crown.
We took some pictures the days before the event to make a nice reminder, and here I share with you the ones that I think looked the best. Although, with such a beautiful model, it was easy for me to take nice pictures.
Last Saturday, before entering the church, we were taking some pictures of the different family members at the doors of the church. My aunts and uncles, my mother, my cousins, grandparents, etc.
Inside the church, before the mass, I was able to immortalize a moment where my cousin was clearly nervous about the event.
During the ceremony, which was very beautiful and participatory, the different children making their first communion had to make several offerings and during the walk down the aisle I was able to take some pictures like the offering of the body of Christ that my cousin was carrying.
After the religious act, we had booked a restaurant to celebrate with my cousin her first communion and we could not miss balloons and sweets for my cousin and other younger cousins.
We had a great meal and to top it off we shared a big cake.
And before tasting it, I had to make a final set of photos of Natalia with the different family groups.
With her parents...
With her grandparents...
With her uncles and cousins on her father's side....
With her family on her mother's side...
But the final touch was the opening of gifts. She was very generous with a scooter, jewelry, a suitcase for when she goes on a trip with her parents....
And from the look on my cousin's face, what surprised her the most was a special camera. Do you know who chose a camera as a gift?
I hope that soon we will get the whole family together again for a nice reason like this one.
THANK YOU, NATALIA, FOR BRINGING US ALL TOGETHER.
