Contest Round 169

in Feathered Friends5 months ago (edited)

Hello bird lovers, greetings. Today I want to share the story of my man-made bird. Many years ago, we bought two owls, a mother owl and some baby owls, made of sea shells called ceriths. There are about 30 species of ceriths found on the North American coasts in warm water. These shells have sculpted whorls decorating their slender exterior, making them very beautiful. This art is made by an unknown artist carefully fixing the different colors of shells around the body parts of Owls, which makes it very close to real birds. While taking photos I noticed some places are missing shells because of white cement corrosion. Thank you @nelinoeva I got a chance to fix/restore it. took

This is a true work of art, how much work the craftsman has had to build these precise birds dear friend @hindavi
Beautiful and colorful shots, appreciate you sharing with us
have a great day

thank you very much I don't know who made it but I admire his/her beautiful work Thank you for stopping by Dear friend @jlufer. :)

It is a fact that we fall in love with birds and animals in the same way and photographing birds in this way is not easy, it takes a lot of time and effort.

Thank you for stopping by.:)

Most welcome dear.

Beautiful 👍

Thanks a lot :)

Wow, beautiful craftsmanship, I had seen something similar but made with seeds. Arranging hundreds of snails and making it look harmonious is a great success. 👏🏼👏🏼
