Talking About Health of My Cockatiels 15 Years Ago!

Hello to my all of my Feathered Friends and anyone else reading and watching my video about how I took care of Baby and Beenie my pet cockatiels 15 years ago.

I talk about the health of taking care of pet my cockatiels and how to keep them healthy in this video. I love to watch my adorable, sweet pet birds because I miss them so much! Watching my videos again definitely helps how I feel, and it is like being with my birds again for a short time.

My birds are so cute to watch as they preen their feathers while I narrate the video.

I do not recommend trimming your bird's wings. Don't do it yourself if you insist that you want their wings clipped. Have a professional bird groomer or avian veterinarian trim your birds wings.

I decided after a few years of owning my pet birds that trimming their wings was a bad thing to do. The birds were/are able to fly out of dangers way if they need to, and birds love to fly, love to exercise and need exercise to prevent weight gain and depression with untrimmed wings.

Scientists have proven that the bird brain is very close to that of the human brain (not is appearance but in how the brain works.)

I had a parakeet that got depressed when he couldn't fly because of me trimming his wings, so he ate too much, and gained too much weight. I felt terrible when I realized trimming his wings was the problem, and I was giving Baby more attention than I gave Buddy my parakeet.

If you own more than one pet cockatiel and a parakeet or other birds please make sure they all get enough attention. Keep each bird in his own cage. This way no bird can get hurt or their feathers plucked by the other birds.

During the day let you birds out to play and Please supervise the play time with your birds out of the cage. Don't leave them alone out of the cage because too many awful things could possibly happen. Wires are dangerous for them to chew on.

Don't let a loose cockatiel or jealous bird walk on top of the cage of a caged canary or other small bird. Baby attacked a canary through the canary's cage when I was trying to help the little guy get well. Baby bit the canary's leg so hard that the canary was bleeding profusely. I took the canary to the vet that day. The poor thing was in bad shape already from someone that neglected to give him fresh food daily for a real long time. She complained how he never sang for her. No wonder. Her canary was extremely ill. She thought the shells in his dish was food he didn't eat. (This is so sad for the owner and the canary because she didn't know anything about birds.) Anyway, please study and read up on birds before owning a pet bird yourself.

Enjoy my video and have a wonderful week ahead!

It is very true what you say about cutting the wings of birds, I also think that they should not be cut, they have to be able to fly
Beautiful video @adcreatordesign

Thank you so much @miprimerconcurso and I am happy you think the birds must fly as well.
