Friendship is a treasure. It is a great treasure at that. It is always fun hanging out with friends and people of like minds. It is what makes our social lives healthy. Friendship is of great benefit to us. Many of us might not know. So, even when we are searching our memory galleries looking for what to use in answering such a beautiful question from @ericvancewalton on #memoirmonday initiative, where we were asked to write about what we are most proudest of. Many of us won't think that talking about our friends is that important.
Friendship is very important. Friendship is the most adorable thing in life. I am proud of the friendships and friends I have.
When you understand the importance of something, you will cherish that thing and become proud of it. I do understand what friendship means and I cherish it. Most of my life as a young lady has been built by the help of good and well meaning friends. I have received help and support from good and caring friends. There were times they were no parents to assist me but loving friends contributed their resources to lift me up when I was down. Friendship is of very great importance.
I did not just get myself to where I am all by myself. Of course that would not have been easy seeing that I grew up from a poor Nigerian home. A friend helped in accommodations till I could afford the rent by myself. A friend introduced me to hive blockchain. And hive blockchain has helped in enlightening my life in ways I never dreamt of. Friends shared their knowledge for me and helped me in understanding meaning things academically and socially. Friendship has been my major source of support and inspiration. So, I am proud of my friends.
The reason most of us are not proud of our friendship is because we have had some terrible experiences with some of the friendships we had. Some people are not willing to give in to any friendship anymore because someone who was their best friend did something unbelievable to them. That your best friend disappointed you, should not put you off balance with friends.
I think wisdom demands that you learn from those who have caused you evil and refrain from the way you relate with others. The bad experience you had from someone might be a source of inspiration to you. It might have been because of the experience you were to get from that person (which could in turn make you successful in your future endeavors, that God brought you in contact with such a friend).
Another thing with this subject of friendship is that we are all different in character and nature. Everyone is not altogether bad. That you met a person who resembles a devil today does not mean you will not be able to meet the one who resembles an angel tomorrow.
