Hello Hello Hivians and Silver Bloggers
The second week of the New Year is done and dusted and soon we won't be calling it the New Year anymore!
This week has been hectic and I have been running around like a blue arsed fly everywhere.
Today though, is finally a day at home resting! Well all I need to apart from cook and eat is make some Hive posts, engage and oh yes get a new broadband deal!
Apparently our deal from Virgin media for broadband of £28 per month comes to an end next week after 18 months and will be renewed at a new rate of £57 per month should we wish to continue.
Well it is the old Hope answer. Two hopes of that happening, Bob Hope and no hope!
Yes fluff that!
But that will be this afternoon, first I want to get this post sorted and as I said a day at home relaxing so yeah it is a #beautifulsunday and a #sublimesunday.
I do like trying to have posts relatable to a tag, so here we go this is for the #sublimesunday is created by @c0ff33a and suitably enough I am sipping a lovely coffee at the momemt and #beautifulsunday was initiated by @ace108.
Thank you both for all you do on the Blockchain so newer folks like myself have places to post and tags to use etc etc!
And here I am sitting in the grounds of Kirkcaldy War Memorial park. It is unique in the UK as the only purpose built war memorial building that houses an art gallery and a library.
More on that another day, I was there yesterday afternoon. Mrs T had seen a local group that meets there once a fortnight called Cast On and it is a crochet club. Well she had not been before, but was chickening out from going. So even though she has the gift of a gab and being American is still a novelty here, I escorted her to the room and then went off galavanting.
Actually there was an exhibition I wanted to see.
They had bits and bobs from notable people hailing from the area.
This was the goalkeeping jersey that was worn by the Scottish goalkeeper John Thomson who was born in Kirkcaldy when they played and defeated England 2-0 in 1930, unfortunately he passed away the next year in a fatal accident.
Look at how thick it is, you can just imagine how warm it is being wool!
Actually there were three exhibitions going on, and they were cool although I did not make getting to one of them.
They of course focused alot on Adam Smith. This is the Kirkcaldy Penny, they did have a real one on display.
The token was to commemorate the publication of Adam Smith's book the Wealth of Nations which if you are into economics etc you will have heard of.
I have a ton of pics from there so will make a post to put those pictures onto the blockchain for posterity!
However, I will leave you with this lovely lady...
A magic surprise for the first person who can guess who the lady is...
Bitcoin stuff
All that economics talk and seeing funny tokens leads me on the spot Bitcoin ETF decision from the SEC in the USA.
Did we really think it was going to be a quick over and done with affair.
Actually more interestingly I think is the Bitcoin halving event that will occur probably in 2024, I think that is what will drive the price of Bitcoin upwards, not a bunch of fatcats taking bitcoin mainstream and away from the ethos of Satoshi!
What I really mean to say is, now I do have a free Sunday (there is no football as we are on a winter break).
Fluff me, talking of winter, Alexa just went off with a weather warning of slow/ice for midnight on Monday. I did set her to give me local weather warnings, and they do come in handy.
AI it is not all bad!
How do you track your coins or portfolio?
I use coinmarketcap and even post ETF approval dip one of my tips for 2024 kept pumping.
$TIA really is one to watch and along with $INJ will provide many airdrops for 2024!
But do your own research, this is not financial advice etc etc.
So yes every time I flicked open the app on my phone I saw TIA going up, and to think many people sold it at $2 when they received in another airdrop.
Airdrops on the cosmos IBC ecosystems are fluffing insane!
Talk about insane, that was last night's dinner I cooked. It was insanely delicious and the good news is that there is leftovers so that is lunch sorted, which will be after I have posted this.
Predictions
Do you like to predict the outcome of events?
I know I do and so this afternoon along with searching for new internet deal I shall be making a post on my leo alt about Fore Protocol.
I like them for a few reasons, not only do they have a zealy running (plenty time to join link is here) with $1500 up for grabs, but they you can earn $FORE tokens for predicting the yes/no outcome of various things.
Back to football again, often the big matches are available to predict. In fact don't make up an example Tengo, go and show one!
Okay, okay this is the sort of thing...
They do have an active Discord server, and it would be great to have some more of them here on Hive!
So if you want to check things out or have a wee prediction on three, feel free to go via my link here for Fore
I seem to have got the babbling mode on, or as Mrs T puts it, injected with a phonograph needle!!
Have you thought refreshing your portfolio prior to the halving?
I know I want to keep building up my Sats!
In the meantime have a great new week!
