Another week comes in with another interesting contest. Happy Morning and greetings to one and all of the hivean community.
Being a part of this contest, brings in sweet memories which is long forgotten. So, why wait, please share your memory under this link hosted by @ericvancewalton for #memoirmonday.
Write about the first pet you've had in your life that comes to mind.
For photo taking we got it dressed. And it gave a good pose
Whenever we feel lonely or nobody to communicate to, we have to seek the next option immediately. And blindly I can tell you the best one is our pets, if we have any at home.
It loves the door mat than anything else
It was by chance we had a baby kitten, right from its birth. This happened 6 years ago, when a mother cat gave birth to three baby kittens, in the shed where we usually keep logs. Though many a times we went to see the baby kitten, the mother kitten would drive us away flor fear of us taking away the baby.

The most elite look while posing for the camera
Inorder not to disturb the cat and its kittens, we stayed away but we regularly fed them with cat food. We used to keep the food near the door of the shed and she would come out to take the food to feed her little ones
As days passed, the mother cats fear reduced and she along with her three kittens would run and play all over the garden. It was such a beautiful sight to see the mother cat and her babies playing all round.
Days passed to month, but two of her kittens disappeared all of a sudden. It was a bitter experience for me and my family members, because every morning and evening, the mother would cry and call out for her missing children. Few days passed as such.
The one baby cat started entering our kitchen regularly. At first it would runaway on seeing us. Later, when it understood we are not going to harm, it became a regular visitor. Slowly we started to cuddle it and it became close to us. One of our best time it was.
Its favourite food was rice and fishcurry and likes snacks the most. A very loyal one, because though it was moving around freely at our home it never used to steal its favourite food even if it was at a stone's throw. It used to wait for its turn.
It loves to play and was always with us. When I had nobody to communicate, my only solace was this cat. It was infact interested to listen to whatever I say. Sometimes I pour in my happiness and sometimes grievances, and I could see it sitting still.
One fine morning, on the 2nd day of Ramadhan , it passed away. It was brutally attacked and killed by a stray dog. Its absence created a eerie atmosphere at home. For some days, one of the main talks at home was the cat's naughtiness, loyalty and activeness. It stayed with us for nearly 3 yrs.
Anybody would love to have such a cat in the family.
The file photos of our cat were captured by my son and daughter . Hope yui enjoyed this brief write up. Thankyou for your continuous support.
