I was amazed it worked, too, and I was concerned about how well I could keep sand from getting in it, thankfully that never happened.
Now I have read and been told about it being done in some areas for hundreds of years, but back then we did not have internet, it was only giving something a try to see if it worked, you know, "the good old days" when we did not know everything.
