Memoir Monday #30 How do you plan to spend the next decade of your life?

This is a good question because I have not thought that this past year would be as it is. I thought I would still be fishing for the next 10 years but that has not been the case. Maybe by then, I will have had my hand fixed and I will be back fishing. That would be nice.

I am just putting this out there for the universe to hear, but I would love to win the lottery and travel across America, I want to go to all the places where I can dig in the ground and find gemstones or fossils. I would also like to dig here on my property and try to find old bottles, I think I know where an old outhouse used to be but I need a backhoe to dig it, plus some trees removed. But first, I need to start playing the lottery, you can not win if you don't play.

In the next ten years, I hope I do not need to go to any more doctors. I hope to be living pain free. If I do not win the lottery or get to travel America and I still have back pain, I see myself still living where I am today, still pulling weeds and keeping the jungle from taking over, and playing with my flower gardens, bananas and pineapple plants.

I hope the crack in the frame of my old truck does not get any bigger because In ten years, I would still like to be driving it. It is a 1997 and has a 7.3 diesel engine with only 150k miles. I think I can get more than ten years out of the engine, but the body is what I worry about.

I don't want to say I never will but I doubt that I will ever camp on one of our islands again. I had a lot of years camping on them, made a lot of memoirs and enjoyed every minute of it.

In ten years I will still be trimming this vine, If I do not keep this plant trimmed back in ten tears it will cover our entire 2 acres, house and all.

You gotta be init to winit.
I remember when the lottery first was here in the UK some people would give winners a whole lot of grief. Turns out they were not even playing lolso how did they expect to win!

Ah ten years, who knows what will we be doing. That engine seems sound as a pound, so yeah fingers crossed the frame holds out. But if the universe does give you the lottery win then you will have something different to travel over America. Something that Mrs T and I want to do too!

My sister spends a lot of money playing the lottery, she likes scratch off tickets, one day she won 100 dollars, turn the ticket in and bought another one, she won another 100, turned that ticket in and bought another one and she won another 100, when she turned that one in she did not win.

I might buy a combo pack where you get several different tickets, I MIGHT win a free ticket, one time I won 50 dollars, I thought I was in Hog Heaven, whatever that means.

Time flies by, and will is power. I believe you will achieve everything you set out to do. Maybe you'll even get a new truck. In ten years your vine will have borne many delicious fruits. May you achieve everything you desire in ten years. Greetings

Time flies by, and will is power, I like that statement.
That vine does not grow any fruit, it is just a vine that looks pretty growing up a tree.

I forgot what it is called but it is the same plant that people buy in a hanging basket, it has small yellow and green leaves, if you let it grow up a tree it turns into a huge leafed vine.

Oh, I'd like to win the lottery too, but for that I have to start playing the lottery!!! I live near the sea and I know how addictive fishing can be. I hope that in these ten years whatever you wish for will come true and most especially that you will travel a lot. Greetings

@nancybriti1 I used to fish for a living and when you can no longer do it, it is hard to realize my body can no longer handle the work.

I think maybe we both need to buy a lottery ticket, and good luck to you.

Yes traveling would be nice, but first I need to win the lottery, it is expensive.

You shall have your wishes, friend

Thank you and I hope all of your wishes come true.
