RE: Rescuing Education| Memoir Monday (Week 9)

in Silver Bloggers7 months ago

I have heard Venezuelan friends who, like me, migrated to Canada, say that “Venezuela has what it deserves”. The golden goose that was Venezuela has had the seven plagues befallen it, the worst of which is “the politicians”. Healing the “wounds” of my country is not an easy task, because the worst illness is in the mental state of the majority of the people. Changing the way of thinking of the typical Venezuelan of today, who is used to watching TV or glued to any screen waiting for the government handouts to arrive, is not like doing a factory reset of a mobile phone… The government knows what it is doing, it follows the script letter by letter… So, do not be surprised that on July 28th, at night, the socialism of the 21st century will extend its tentacles to 2032 or 2050. Parasites, when they find no restrictions, take over their habitat until they squeeze it dry…

Yes, our situation is very difficult. As you say, the worst damage has been done to the new generations. Education is on the floor. Thanks for stopping by and commenting dear @amigoponc . A big hug from Maracay.
