Hello friends, I trust everyone is enjoying the new year. It's really been a while I've been in this space streamlining different articles on disparate communities but recently got stocked to the music niche, and it's been a pleasure showcasing my talent here. However, this is my debut in the hive open mic community and the song I performed today isn't a personal song though, trust I'm welcomed smiles.
Well, I learnt singing from the Church although from my teenage period and till now I'm a youth, songs have helped me a lot as I can't stay any longer without listening to good and inspirational music but I'm not too good in singing and listening to secular music given the way I was nurtured and the Life I've also chosen to live.
However, you raise me up is a symphony I've loved so much and don't really know the possibility of erasing this song off my memory lane. I may not absolutely fathom the reason behind the song but I know most of us have been in the shoe where we once said “if not you”. It's factual that Rome wasn't built in a day as adage may have it every position we got in life came through some processes or step by step and those procedures are chains of individuals at each time.
This song is intrinsically an expression of appreciation through all the roughages and preparations we've been through in order to keep afloat at the moment.
On the other hand, I see this melody as an expression of gratitude to God and humanity. Most times we're down with sickness, depression, wantonness, discretion etc but in these instances we still get the help that is proportionally remedial to them.
Life in general isn't always smooth, palatable, good or as we envisioned it to be given its peak and throw nature but God knows the reality about living here on earth so he raised us up in wisdom, intellect, boldness and ability to face and overcome the issues around us.
When we're raised up, we fear no upheaval whether they are natural or synthetic. The storms of Life become a mere play when we're strengthened and empowered. It's noteworthy that the reason for failure in life is solely consequential upon unpreparedness and lack of training.
A little assistance can boost a dying moral to a reasonable height, and how does this help come? It comes through God and man. So when we're helped by God and humanity, it gives us the fortitude to continue even in the face of adversity.
Consequently, there are people who's reason for being in the grave today is given to zero assistance and contrarily, there are also people dining with Kings today given to little assistance. In this regard, it's important we seek divine empowerment in order to overcome our mountains and storms although I don't absolutely object to running after human favor given that man can disappoint at some points but if by any means we were assisted by people, we need to appreciate them for being human at those periods also.
Nonetheless, let's take a perusal over the video clip with the ensuing lyrics below. It'll be my humble pleasure to see you at the comment section smiles and stay strong 🙏🙏💖💖
When I am down and, oh, my soul, so weary
When troubles come and my heart burdened be
Then I am still and wait here in the silence
Until You come and sit awhile with me
You raise me up so I can stand on mountains
You raise me up to walk on stormy seas
I am strong when I am on Your shoulders
You raise me up to more than I can be
You raise me up so I can stand on mountains
You raise me up to walk on stormy seas
I am strong when I am on Your shoulders
You raise me up to more than I can be
You raise me up (up) so I can stand on mountains (stand on mountains)
You raise me up to walk on stormy seas (stormy seas)
I am strong (I am strong) when I am on Your shoulders (ooh)
You raise me up to more than I can be
You raise me up (up) so I can stand on mountains (stand on mountains)
You raise me up to walk on stormy seas (stormy seas)
I am strong when I am on Your shoulders
You raise me up to more than I can be
You raise me up to more than I can be
Thank you for checking up on me, smiles and see you next week.
