I think it's great that you have re-evaluated your usage of CTP tribe, CTP tokens and CTPX Manual Traffic Exchange site, I mean Content Delivery Platform. !LOL
A lot of people do not follow continuous improvement practices. At one time, my employer paid me to go to many weekly training courses where I would bring back knowledge and build expertise to reduce waste in our operation and to exploit new technologies. It was all personal development to me cause I knew I would apply the new knowledge to everything I do. And still do, 43+ years later. Interestingly, the areas of concerns today are the same as it was over 40 years ago and it will continue that way as long as people are involved in the process.
I have a saying that goes like this..Go Big or Stay Home. That is what I am doing with PEPT.
Now CTP and all it represents is a small component but a very important one just the same. For example, initially I was excited about sharing content on CTPTalk and generating a revenue stream based on my time and content. As I got more familiar with many tribes, frontends and token valuation I realized that Hivers spoke well of the platform but for the most part, they did/do the same mistakes on Hive as they would outside of Hive. Or they try and make Hive a better Web2 platform. Or they have bad habits and not ready to change. Or, they lack the foundational skills required to make an improvement in the first place. All these observations are extremely valuable. The challenge is to extract the value to drive something more productive.
I do not find the default tribe frontend very intuitive and often the usage is counter-productive. Some are better supported and offer good engagement. Many get their traffic from Hivers using a different frontend and taking advantage of tagging. So from this experience, I do not see the value in spending BEE to create a Hive tribe but I do see great potential in building a Hive community. Not suggesting Hive app is a problem as much as realizing the importance of converting an idea to a well implemented and supported service for Hivers.
Thanks again for the engagement. It really does make a positive difference on how to prepare for what's to come in our traffic exchanging journey !LUV
