Well Hello There Fellow Technicians And Hivers!

Finally!

Heck it's been months since I pulled out this differential and finally! FINALLY we got the go ahead on this one!

I am actually quite keen on assembling this beautifull piece of machinery!

Oh and it has a V8 in! The younger brother only has a V6! It's actually sad that they don't make V8's as much as they used to!

Let's get to the Anaconda!

Why I Like These Builds!

The fun thing about these is that you don't have a major struggle to get them out or in for that matter. You remove the entire sub-frame with the Differential and steering rack still attached to it.

Now that saves up a whole lot of time and it makes the job easier and faster, although I have to say it's a little more muscle power because that stuff is heavy!

So Clean It Shines!

There's nothing more beautifull than a nice clean piece of machinery, especially if you get to fit that back into the vehicle, working with greasy stuff just isn't for me at all, maybe not anymore!

I don't know how the folks do it but I am more than glad I am working for a place that has higher standards than most.

Oh and this is a ZF built differential!

All ready to put her back into the vehicle! I did use a plan that made it so much easier! Turned a two man job into a one man job!

The Real Struggle!

Now I have to say that this was the spot where the struggle was real! I didn't even think that the steering pump would give me that big of a headache!

Okay actually it wasn't that big I just had to clear my head and attach them in the right order, the big black feed pipe had a screw in nut on the lower side of it and that kept turning and at first I thought heck I just broke this steering pump but it seems not!

Just a little patience that can go a long way!

Who Does This?

Yeah okay so I did give it a fix since I was the last guy that worked on those! Laughs!

Don't want no client returning and saying that we messed it up! Rather fix before the questions arise! But heck who has the knowledge to join the wires and then just leave them open and free to touch each other and short out?

Nothing big! Just a patch!

Of-Course!

Oh but of-course there always has to be some sort of issue after the job was done right!

Well this one had a battery issue and with automatics battery issues can be quite annoying to say the least! One thing is certain and that is that the client has to get one before we give him the car!

Nice work on the differential rebuild brother. Looks like a challenging job, but glad you were able to fix the steering pump issue and get everything back together. Those electrical gremlins can be tricky no doubt
