Well Hello There Fellow Technicians And Hivers!

I've Got To See It To Believe It!

I can't even begin to explain what a complicated story it was to get this loom! AND wait for it, it's still not exactly the same power loom! It's the same one with three extra plugs on it and we've been getting a different loom every time they sent one. We've got a bunch of weird stuff but this one seems to be the one for it!

But before I completely plug it in I've got to test it before I just yolo it the hell out with all the clips it has! It'll be a hot mess if things aren't working as they're supposed to!

A quick plug and play revealed quite a lot hey! It works and now I've got to fit it! If I can remember where all of the clips have to go!

Somewhere There!

Okay I know it starts off somewhere around there but I'm not too sure where!

Mayhaps I'll just chuck it in there and be done with it! Right Bossman! The job is done for! We can go home early today! If only!

So it starts off under the water bottle and works it's way down but the working way down has got to be just right! I mean that! If I loom this thing wrongly it might melt the loom away from all the heat from the exhaust system!

Yeah it goes right past that! Don't believe me! Be patient enough!!

One Misstep And It's Done!

Legitly! Oh Bossman would be real mad then! Of-course I have to know to make certain that there isn't any problem what so ever!!

But why would Ford choose to run it down along the right side of the engine where the CAT sits? It's hectic! Imagine the heat that hits on the loom! Overtime it's bound to harden both the plastic and the wires inside and one day it'll just come loose without even touching it!

Surely that is what happened with the current loom ey!

To My Surprise!

Low and behold those extra plug ends on the loom actually has holes in the cross member! It's meant to fit in there!

My uncle works at Ford and I asked him if he has any idea what those are for? And he told me that he has never seen this type of loom before. Now that was hectic to say the least! Where did they get this one? Surely working for Ford you must have fitted one of these right?

Anyways, it's fitted and that's probably the only thing that really matters right?

Job done!

I despise digging into wiring issues!! I gotta do it in a Mazda 3 I picked up. It keeps burning out headlight bulbs… #nightmare!!

That's quite the adventure you had there brother. It's amazing how intricate these technical setups can be. You're vain more experience every time with it too

Wow congratulations, it was new you were able to complete the work. Those wires look confused. Weldone
