The Job That Was Abused!
Well well well! There's always this one comeback that was beaten into the ground right! There is always that one guy that redlines his Ford everyday and all day!
Well this is one of those builds! The evidence is clear! Oh so very clear! The clutch linings on the inside of the transmission, the oil didn't even discolour yet!
What does that mean? Driven way too hard!
Assessment Time!
Now for the real deal! This is where we shall see what is really going on with this thing!
Oh heck guys this owner is not going to be happy! He has two burnt clutch packs and a wrecked input and it all points to over torque and over ref! Basically a racer driving a civilian truck! That is not how things work at all!
One thing that is certain is this would be a very easy build to rebuild! It's simple we know what we need to do and there for it would be a quick swap out, albeit the only reason for that is the fact that it has already been rebuilt!
Got Hit Hard!
Now that is a shaft that got hit hard! This is the input shaft of the transmission... sort of... it's an automatic. But the thing is the pump slides over that part of the shaft, so before we jump the gun we might have to inspect the pump itself aswell.
However I did inspect it lightly and I didn't see any visible wear at all, mayhaps if we open it up we might find some hella big damage.
This shaft is hella big damaged though, I think this might top it off far above the rest for any I've seen before and I've seen a great deal of them!
I suppose it's back to the drawing boards and this time it needs to last!
