Trying to get my dog to swim…

Getting old

My dog is getting old, he is becoming 8 in February. And he is having some medical issues, with his prostate and hid heart. At this moment nothing life threatening but still, it makes you think about how long he has left.

So today we gave hom a great day with some play in the water. He enjoyed himself immensely and I was hoping he would finally swim. Ghey say all dogs can swim, but ours just doesn’t dare… He stops when he sees he can not stand anymore. It almost worked today, but he was just too scared! And at his age getting over fears is maybe just a little too much to ask…
