Some Days You Get Odd Problems! (This Was A No Brainer One!)

Well Hello There Horsepower Lovers!!

The Weirdest Problem!

Well honestly I think it's more a thing of human error (Constant human error) or their is really something fishy going on!

Last year we got this Ranger and we were supposed to rebuild the transmission and we've done that and went out on the road for a test drive and when bossman came back the motor blew. Not exactly blew up but it lost oil pressure and well it got buggered up!

Nothing to do with us though, it had oil and it had water it's just what happened! It happens!

So there was a final piece we needed after swapping out a new motor and it was the fuel supply rail!
The clips kept on popping out and when that happens it's a ton of diesel spilt everywhere! Problematic yes!

The Parts That Needed Fitting!

We legitly just waited for these two parts and the second was ordered after we realized that something isn't right with the fuel lines!

The one is the fuel supply pipes and the other bigger pipe at the bottom is a water pipe, that absolutely needs to be fitted! The one we have in is currently leaking, very little but still!

So let's get going!

All Prepped Out!

Now I had a great plan in mind for popping in these tips that keep on popping out!
So when I got the new pipes and fittings I grabbed my tub of grease to lube all those tips up and push them in so that they go in as deep as they can! Don't want anything popping out anymore!

But as I removed the protectors from them I noticed that they come pre-lubed! Ford knows! Oh they know these things can be a bugger to install!

It's not a lot of work getting them in place! Not at all but keeping them in place that seems to be the problem! Let's hope this is resolved now!

This is where the real work is at! Getting all those clips in properly and without any of them jumping into the engine bay and getting lost! Oh that can happen wayyyy too easily! Got to be carefull!

The Frustration Job!

This pipe is a pain in the ass! Seriously if we could have gotten this before fitting the engine it would have helped a hell of a lot!

Now my patience is just going to be tested with this one and heck I'm not sure how I'm going to get it out though! I suppose I don't have a choice really! Laughs!

Well there it is all tangled up between a heap and mess of wires! How the hell! What did Ford even think! Ah nah this pipe will never fade! Well it sure as hell did!

Oh just so you know that is the easy side! It has a clamp on that I can bolt out of place! The other end of it I need to wiggle and wangle a pair of pliers in there!

The pipe I am touching is the one that has to be removed, the angle changed now so it might be confusing! But I did eventually get it out!

Oh the tediousness of unbolting that clamp was hectic!

Everything Is Set!

Well everything is set to go! I have my water pipe fitted, after a huge struggle! A HUGE ONE! I have to say getting it out was a lot harder than fitting the new one in place! Odd right!

Then I double checked that my fuel feed pipes were in-fact properly inserted! They seemed stuck but so did they the previous three times that they popped out and leaked! So a good road test is needed!

Then bossman dropped me with a bomb!

The Window Winder!

Dang uncle! I didn't even know about this! The client brought this to us wayyyyy back when he booked the vehicle in and we've somehow forgotten about this little piece! So I unbolted everything I needed to and removed the door panel!

Guess what happened then! Then we realized that he brought us the wrong side! Okay the left side is also buggered! But we have more brains than most realized! I borrowed a part from another Ranger to make sure that it wasn't the winder that was buggered and something else, it was the button itself that was buggered! So we fixed the left side up by swapping it out with one taken from the back!

P.S the driver side is still buggered but we don't have the right side window winder!
So all in all I am done with this one! Onto the next!

Amazing work! 🎉

First I apologize for the voting power, I'm working on it, I don't have many followers but I will always make you visible.
As always I read the whole post, you do the work, I like the clarification you make at the end, so those who want to do the same work DO NOT take into account what you do hahaha.
I have my car, when I have problems I always take it to the mechanic, by the way they have some rates somewhat high, well very high, but I do NOT complain, my car is fine I already have a trusted mechanic.
I wish you a happy day
