Checked your post nine days ago (monomad entry). I like that post very much.
Hedgehogs make my heart beat extra, unfortunately I have seen many dead this year, is not so strange because they are almost completely blind, the sense of smell is perfect!

        so sad to see a dead hedgehog but as they have become more common it is inevitable that their dead bodies will also be found. their being blind was part of the humor at the end of the post where i was hoping to get them interested in nibbling on the lupines by pointing out how pretty they were...
