I saw three cups, a cake in a plate with a fork and a teddy bear sitting on a table with a fine tablecloth.
I think the cups contain ice cream, and the toy is not happy because the owner abandoned it and was chilling.
This prompt reminded me of my niece's birthday and her humble wish. Before the Christmas season, two of my nieces came to spend the holidays, making my daughter very happy as she had been the only child among adults in the house. On the 3rd of January, it was one of the girls' birthdays. When I asked her what she wanted, she said, "Aunty, I want to eat soya (kebab), minerals, and ice cream because I have not had ice cream on my birthday before." My husband and I smiled, and I replied, "Your wish is granted."
On the eve of her birthday, we organized for the soya and minerals. On her birthday, I took them out to have fun at the nearest eatery with an ice cream joint. When we got there, I ordered ice cream and cake. The kids, especially the celebrant, were very happy. While going home, she looked at me and said, "From today, I will no longer be calling you aunt; I will call you mommy because that is what you are to all of us."
Thanks for visiting, I love you all. Pictures below are mine.
