Hello friends. Happy creative Sunday to all my friends and every other person here on Hive. Also, I didn’t rehearse well today but I think I tried more than the previous time. I was not really familiar with the lyrics too but I can always do better. I thought of not singing Wizkid all the time so I decided to go for another popular song by the African giant (Burna Boy) which is titled “Last Last”. Honestly, there’s a story or hot gist behind this song.
The artiste was in love with his girlfriend. If anyone knows Burna Boy and follow him a lot, you’d know that he’s dating Stefflondon. Stefflondon is also an artiste but I don’t know the country she’s from. Burna Boy loved her that he buys her gifts, takes her out all the time until he chop breakfast
Unfortunately, the female artiste broke up with Burna Boy and it was said that she went to Shatta Wale’s (an artiste from Ghana) house and maybe something happened between them. This caused a rift between Shatta and Burna and I’m sure they’re still at loggerheads. It is obvious that Burna Boy was extremely pained and he released the song “last last” and even took to his social handles to insult the lady. It was really crazy and the lady also released a song to respond to all what Burna Boy has been saying online and insulted Burna with what men dislike the most. Right now, the two of them are back again and that’s why I don’t really like to interfere in relationship talks because they’d still tell each other what their friends said when they both were apart.
This particular song is what created the popular slang in Nigeria that people tell anyone who has been heartbroken you don chop breakfast so if you hear that, just know that the person is heartbroken.
Watch my video and enjoy with me…
Let’s get to the lyrics…
You go bow for the result, oh
Nothing to discuss, oh
'Cause I dey win by default
And without any doubt, oh
Omo, me, I be adult, oh
I no go fit take your-
I no go fit take your insult, oh here is the full lyrics of the song for those who wish to sing along.
That’s all for today's creative Sunday and I hope you all love my performance.
