Winter resistance

Using the last winter photo of this year (not that I've shown you many winter photos now anyway, it's just been that kind of year) of our winter tiger Assencho, who doesn't like winters at all, just like me, I want to mention resilience again, but not about plants this time. Now it's about animals, parasites. Well yes, parasites always survive, and are resistant, that's a historical fact. But still, they too have their seasons and distribution cycles. At least until recently.
Because this winter I already removed several ticks already from our other tiger, the one I showed you a while ago, which does not allow me to take normal pictures of him - our black cat 🐱
So, it seems that this year, due to the change of seasons probably, the ticks are not sleeping. They managed to winter alive and healthy, active.
Well, at least until I saw them and removed them.
But ok, enough talking about unpleasant things. Because our black and white tiger, our greatest and most talented artist is in front of us and we can't help but see how cute he is, right? 😻

Hive.jpgSoul's Detour is a project started by me years ago when I had a blog about historical and not so popular tourist destinations in Eastern Belgium, West Germany and Luxembourg. Nowadays, this blog no longer exists, but I'm still here - passionate about architecture, art and mysteries and eager to share my discoveries and point of view with you.
