Professor Shisho has not yet recovered. We have come to the conclusion that he has caught feline covid. At first he was coughing a lot. I gave him an anti parasite pill which I give him anyway at a certain period of time when he starts coughing or when I see he has tapeworms, you know what I mean, bits of them sometimes stick to the fur in the back. However, it is now understood that this cough was not caused by parasites. He actually stopped coughing. But he also stopped eating and lost a lot of weight. I also noticed one day that he had a racing heart, although he appeared to be visibly calm. This could be due to some kind of inflammation. It could be a covid effect too, I guess. But the good thing is that he has not laid down, he is walking about, yes, he is melancholy, and not cheerful at all, but he is moving, he has not given up, I hope. The cat lord hasn't healed him yet, but I hope he hasn't abandoned him and heals them soon!🙏

Get well soon, Shisho!

Thank you, Melinda! Much appreciated 🤗What he needs most now are health wishes.🙏The last time we took a cat to the vet in the next town, the doctor simply said, I have no idea what could be wrong with him. He gave him a few injections just in case and then the cat recovered on his own. But the stress experienced on the way to the doctor is indescribable. These are wild and shy cats we have and I think they could die just from the stress on the way and not from the disease itself. So now we hope that he will heal on his own so that we don't have to cause him this stress.
