Blacky and the little vampires

in #cat6 months ago (edited)

Ticks are a big problem this year. And the most affected is our savage Blacky.

Yesterday he allowed me to photograph him somewhat, albeit out of focus, because you know that episode of Married with Children where Al was trying to photograph the aliens that visited their home. Blacky behaves just like that at times - he won't let me take his picture and all my attempts fail. Well, maybe because he's an alien too. 😸👽

He is the only unneutered cat in the house and he goes... god knows where... on village trips. Also, you know he "has two address registrations" with a second home unknown to us. Also, very often when it shows up at home it smells strongly of sheep to me. Therefore, it is not without reason that I think that his other humans are breeders. 🐑

But I have to tell you that since the ticks found him, he spent a lot of days at home, because he knows that in the morning, after breakfast, the "spa treatments" that his human - me, gives him, await him. He just lays down and I start cleaning him of these animals. And he purrs. 😻
Although he usually pretends to be a man all the time, he has now found that it is much better when the human cleans him of the little buggers.

Oh yeah, I put Frontline on him, you don't think I like doing this dirty work. But the thing is, this year the preparation did not work on him. Or it's just that his blood is very sweet and the little vampires are inextricably attracted to him. 🧛‍♂️

Poor boy 😿
