Cada año, un nuevo ciclo se abre ante nosotros, marcado por la celebración de un nuevo cumpleaños. Un día especial para reflexionar sobre el camino recorrido, agradecer por las experiencias vividas y, sobre todo, celebrar la dicha de estar en esta tierra.
Los cumpleaños no solo son una ocasión para recibir regalos y disfrutar de una buena compañía, sino también una oportunidad para reconectarnos con la esencia de la vida, esa chispa que nos impulsa a disfrutar cada instante. Rodeados de las personas que nos quieren, celebramos el privilegio de estar aquí, de sentir el calor del sol en nuestra piel, el sabor de una deliciosa comida, la alegría de una simple conversación y el viento fresco en la cara.
Para mí en particular, es un día para no hacer nada, para dejarme consentir. Y es que no hay nada más sabroso que te lleven tu desayuno favorito a la cama, no fregar ni un plato, que te inviten a comer y te agasajen durante todo el día, es como un día total para ser malcriado y querido por tu gente.
Y yo confieso que no soy muy de comer dulce, prefiero siempre lo salado, siempre, pero ¿todo tiene su excepción correcto? Y sí, mi excepción es una buena torta tres leches con un toquecito de limón y una buena cantidad de licor, ese que hace que la torta no llegue a empalagarte. Creo que de la celebración de mi cumpleaños es una de las cosas que más espero, mi torta de cumpleaños.
Y yo que soy amante de la música tengo que decir que en medio de la celebración, hay un elemento cobra que especial importancia: el canto del "cumpleaños feliz". Más que una simple melodía, se trata de un ritual que nos une, que nos recuerda la fragilidad y la belleza de la vida, invitándonos a aprovechar al máximo cada momento.
Al cantar, nuestras voces se funden en una sola, creando una atmósfera de alegría y complicidad. Es un recordatorio de que no estamos solos, de que formamos parte de una comunidad que nos brinda apoyo, amor y compañía.

For me in particular, it is a day to do nothing, to let myself be pampered. And there is nothing tastier than having your favorite breakfast brought to bed, not doing a single dish, being invited to eat and being pampered all day long, it's like a total day to be spoiled and loved by your people.
