The Seven Deadly Sins is a story about a superpowered person of any race hunted because of false news. They just hide and always do rightful things while labeled as a criminal or wanted person. The story starts with a reunion of the seven deadly sins. It's a unity of Fairy, Human, Giant, Doll, Goddess/Angel, and Demon. The most important thing we can learn from them is their friendship despite being from different clans. There's no antagonist in this season. It's a show about how political government works. They need a black sheep for everything. Everything should be cleared and killing isn't always the best choice. It should be the last choice.
The Seven Deadly Sins: Revival of The Commandment
After they reunite, the world is peaceful again but evil always lurks on the other side. The real antagonist appeared. They are the Ten Commandments and The Archangels. Ten Commandments are old friends and family of Meliodas (Demon clan) and The Archangels are old friends and family of Elizabeth (Angel/Goddess clan). It's not about how a person should kill their own family for love or about defying the god. Love is bringing peace between light and dark. It'll guide them to the right path. Humans, Giants, Fairies, and The Seven Deadly Sins are together to face someone who just knows that peace should be commanded by power. The main story of this season is about the old perspective (Power is everything, Dark is always evil, and Light is always good) vs the new perspective (Love is everything, Unity over racism). With the new perspective, They always do it with four steps: Discussion > Agreement > Knocking out > Killing. If we can't agree with others, a battle will happen. The most important thing, we already tried to discuss and make an agreement before someone needs to die. After the world is back to peace, there are no rules about the engagement of different races. Hybrid between more than 1 race born into the world. The world becomes peaceful again and continues with the new generation.
The Seven Deadly Sins: Four Knights of the Apocalypse
Now, Nanatsu no Taizai continues with its sequel Nanatsu no Taizai: Mokushiroku no Yonkishi a.k.a The Seven Deadly Sins: Four Knights of the Apocalypse. While the animation aired from October 2023 to March 2024 without delay in Japan, Netflix users parted in 2 for the first season. Part one was released in January 2024 and Part 2 just released on Netflix a few days ago at the end of June 2024. No, it's too laggy with so many ads and they seldom serve 1080p video. I just finished watching it and it's so good. Even, it's already the next generation of Nanatsu no Taizai. They are still showing the usual friendship and unity despite race. The main story of this sequel is about the unity of all races (Protagonist) vs Humans only (Antagonist). We never know when we can meet with another intelligent creature. If we can increase our tolerance, this world will be peaceful. It's not about Human only is bad. Bad and good is a two-sided coin. It's a matter of perspective. It's like a moral dilemma If you need to choose to save your friend who's not human or save your human family, who will you choose? They didn't do any bad things to you. Your family accepts your friend and you're together for so long until people don't want to see you together peacefully.
I just hope people can learn from this animation that shows friendship and unity over everything. If you need to battle because of a different perspective, I hope you can finish it fast. I don't really care about who's right or who's wrong because it's always about different perspectives. I'm more like "Do you think you can finish it fast so innocent people won't be in the middle of your battle? Do you need a real evil that comes from another planet or another dimension to make you become one?"
