Today I got up early to wait in my car for "Forgotten Harvest" to help with groceries for my family. It's about a two or three hour process from when I leave to when I get back. It's worth it, they give my family a variety of foods, mostly fruits and vegetables that would cost hundreds of dollars to purchase ourselves.
A single semi-truck provides enough food for over 100 cars, multiple families for each car.
It's drive-through service, where cars open their trunks and volunteers load them up. We have been making donations to Forgotten Harvest, not for our food, but for the fantastic organization that is able to provide this service for so many families.
It helps us to run our home, living within our means while ensuring our family is well fed and healthy. While I'd rather sleep in, taking care of my family is more important. And bringing home a car full of food is always a delight for our family.
After we put away the grocery items, I drove out to my door-knocking stomping grounds and did a six hour shift, hopefully completing my 20 hour minimum this week, so I can take tomorrow off to get ready for the big trip coming up.

Teach Your Children Liberty from Sin
We encourage parents to teach their children principles of Godliness, beginning with the Word and an understanding who God is and what His Son has done to form a relationship with us.
No one can lay a foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ. If anyone builds on this foundation using gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, or straw, his workmanship will be evident, because the Day will bring it to light. It will be revealed with fire, and the fire will prove the quality of each man’s work. 1 Corinthians 3:11-13
Teach Your children Liberty from Tyranny
Second to this is the principle of self-determination and freedom, lest we loose the ability to teach our children the first principle in future generations.
Our children read the Tuttle Twin books, specifically to learn libertarian principles, which most people learn later in life. These books are useful for our family, and yours, to teach children concepts that seem complicated, but are made simple in these books.
