After daddy brought back a dozen avocados, our family decided to make some guacamole. But we were missing a few, actually most, of the other ingredients besides avocados!
We needed lemons for another project coming up, so we visited the grocery store for ingredients. Because baking season is coming up, this is when we stock up on inexpensive baking ingredients.
Only a few of the avocados were bad, most were in pretty good shape. We scooped out the insides and mushed them up. It's mostly green!
We added some chopped jalapenos and we diced up some white onions. My wife showed me her technique on how to chop them without tearing up. It worked great! Simply chop them far away from your face, away from you, and the irritating onion 'mist' will stay away from the eyes.
The family gobblied it up so quickly I never got a photo of it, but what was left over still looks pretty good. It's tricky keeping guac fresh as it oxidizes very quickly. But it still tastes delicious!
Not the most photogenic of foods, but I was delighted to supply these large avocados for the family and that they were so well enjoyed!

Teach Your Children Liberty from Sin
We encourage parents to teach their children principles of Godliness, beginning with the Word and an understanding who God is and what His Son has done to form a relationship with us.
No one can lay a foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ. If anyone builds on this foundation using gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, or straw, his workmanship will be evident, because the Day will bring it to light. It will be revealed with fire, and the fire will prove the quality of each man’s work. 1 Corinthians 3:11-13
Teach Your children Liberty from Tyranny
Second to this is the principle of self-determination and freedom, lest we loose the ability to teach our children the first principle in future generations.
Our children read the Tuttle Twin books, specifically to learn libertarian principles, which most people learn later in life. These books are useful for our family, and yours, to teach children concepts that seem complicated, but are made simple in these books.
