One of the greatest parts of this season is that we FRY things! We make a dough and fold in chopped apple and spices.
Roll them into doughnuts.
The spices and the apple pieces shine through the dough.... yummy!
Then we fry them to a golden brown.
Add a sugar glaze and we have... apple fritters!
These were a great hit with the family! They are big so ONE is plenty enough.
It's the most wonderful time of the year!!!!
