Although it was not the hottest day of the summer so far, it was very humid, with intermittent rain. As I walked down the hill from my morning class back to the station, the cloud cover and humidity seemed to cast a strange misty light over the video that I was recording.
Here's the video - check it out and you'll see what I mean:
The topic of today's video was inspired by a series of emails from Stan of Big Dogs in which he promised to reveal a NEW site that he was adding to his Big Dogs portfolio of (mainly) safelists.
Also, a day or two before those emails Stan had asked for feedback about what programs we'd like him to DROP or to ADD to his portfolio. I replied that I'd like him to drop BuildABizOnline and replace it with Traffic Zipper. If he did that, I would be much more likely to go all in with Big Dogs and start promoting it.
As it turned out, Stan did not add Traffic Zipper to his portfolio. Instead, the new site he added was the Frank Salinas safelist, 100PercentClicks, which is one of the sites I promote inside my 100% Commission Funnel so I was interested to read why Stan had decided to add it to Big Dogs.
This is the gist of his message:
I agree with Stan that 100PercentClicks does a good job as a safelist. I took the lifetime upgrade and plugged it into TrafficZipper, so I am now sending out emails to 100PercentClicks on complete autopilot and getting new subscribers from them.
However, on the affiliate side, 100PercentClicks has delivered the lowest amount of commissions of all the five programs inside my 100% Commission Funnel. I believe there are two reasons for its relatively poor performance in delivering affiliate commissions:
It's free to join and you can earn 100% commission on each referral's first purchase, even as a free member. So most of my referrals have simply joined and not upgraded!
It was already a big site when I joined it so a lot of people who join my 100% Commission Funnel are already 100PercentClicks affiliates.
With that in mind, I've been thinking about dropping it for another 100% commission-paying site, but have not yet found a good alternative.
(Note, even if I drop it from my 100% Commission Funnel, I would continue to work with the site on TrafficZipper.)
So I was interested to see that Stan of Big Dogs announced that he was adding 100PercentClicks to his portfolio, based on its performance as a safelist. It's grown to be one of the industry leaders. Maybe I just missed the boat on the affiliate marketing front! LOL!
If you work with 100PercentClicks, I'd be interested to read about your experience of the safelist, both in terms of the traffic it delivers and any affiliate commissions you have earned from it.
Cheers!
