How to stay "top of mind" with your email subscribers

in #alive6 months ago

I recorded this "walkie-talkie" video on a blazing hot Saturday lunchtime just after I finished teaching a class at a community centre. I enjoy the walk back down the hill after the class, and yesterday I took the opportunity to record my thoughts about how affiliate marketers can improve their results with their mailing list.

The Foundation: Your Opt-In Page and Mailing List

In the video I assume that you already have an effective opt-in page or lead capture page that adds people to your mailing list. This list should have a series of follow-up emails lasting around 30 days. If you have this setup and it’s working well, you're on the right track. If not, I recommend trying out my 100% commission funnel, which has been delivering excellent results: https://lllpg.com/xsynwzgv/hive

Daily Promotion and Credit Building

Once your lead capture page is set, your next focus should be on daily promotion. If you are in the "make money online" or "biz op" niches, then you can use safelists and traffic exchanges to promote your lead capture page. Spend time each day earning safelist and traffic exchange credits, even if you’re an upgraded member, so that you can get your lead capture page seen by as many people as possible each day.

I highly recommend using Traffic Zipper as an upgraded member because it automates your safelist emailings and maximizes exposure by sending out emails to as many as three dozen leading safelists.

The Power of Daily Broadcasts

In addition to your automated email series, it’s a good idea to send out broadcasts several times a week. Broadcast emails should be manually written and can include topical content, tips, the latest niche-related news or offers.

When offering an affiliate product or service, do some research first to make sure you are promoting something worthwhile, and not just trying to get a sale without any concern for the quality of the offer.

Leveraging Successful Broadcasts

Once you’ve identified which broadcasts resonate well with your audience, repurpose them into evergreen emails. Add them to the end of your existing email series. Over time, your email series will grow from 30 days to 40, 50, and beyond, ensuring continuous engagement with your subscribers on autopilot.

Avoiding the Bandwagon Effect

Be mindful of jumping on every new product bandwagon. Recently, a popular safelist owner, Frank Salinas, released a new safelist, and suddenly everyone was promoting it. Instead of following the crowd, seek out unique products or services that align with your list’s needs and desires. If you are promoting something different from the flavour of the week, then your offer has a better chance of standing out from the crowd.

Stay Engaged and Authentic

The key takeaway here is to stay engaged with your audience. Regularly sending out broadcasts, even when you have a robust automated email series, keeps your list active and engaged. Use humour, offer value, and ensure your communications are authentic and relevant to your audience to stay "top of mind" with them.

Cheers!
