My day was spent paying last respect to a lovely person who imparted so many lives.
Listening to her stories almost broke me, having encountered her only once and admired her from a distance.
She was anemic and had struggled with this illness for most of her 27 years on Earth but never derailed from being jovial, holding up a smiley face with generosity at the forefront of her affairs.
She held a hug handy with such a broad smile.
A daughter to the commissioner of police who gave their best to ensure she got out of this alive but life played a different tone.
Her father, on the other hand; was a humble, happy and jovial being who rendered his services of security to the church at will.
The family's impact on society had the church's ground floor filled to the brim with people from all around the states of different caliber on Tuesday by 10 am. A working day did not deter them.
She is laid to rest and will be greatly missed by all especially her parents and siblings who were moanfully short of words.
They stood still not leaving the burial sight even after the burial rites were read. After the grave was toppled to the brim. They were cajoled lovingly to leave.
There is time for everything under the sun indeed and today was one to mourn and rethink life choices.
