Happy Saturday! Happy Caturday! I hope that you had a nice day wherever you are reading for this. Some of you may be well into your Sunday.

Today I tried to sleep in a bit. I had interrupted sleep last night between Jeff leaving around 3:30 to take a friend to work and my son coming in late with my grandsons.

Toe Beans :)

I spent my morning vacuuming all the carpets and washing clothes. I'm always glad to complete this task, but after the draining week I had I needed to rest periodically to complete this. Two dogs and a cat make it necessary to vacuum frequently.

Tonight we got a surprise visit from a grandchild so I was happy for the visit. Jeff grilled burgers outdoors and we ate those before he took the kids on a hop in the plane. I am dealing with some sciatica from all the sitting around and laying with the migraine last week. I did exercises for my hip using the Sword kit that sat unused all week.

The early nightfall makes me feel like it's bedtime before 7:30. I'm not a fan of daylight savings time.

Grandkids definitely make everything better! Happy you and Jeff had your grandsons show up as surprise visitors.♥️

I hope your back pains ease up soon. That's no fun. Vacuuming didn't help your back though I understand the chore needs to be done due to pets as we have a Siberian husky that sheds year round.

I agree with you -- the end of daylight savings time is a buzz kill. We haven't figured a way to "reset" the husky's internal clock so she won't wake us up between 5:15 am - 5:45 am for her morning walk. Do any of your furbabies wake you before the crack of dawn?

Yes! Grandkids make it all worth it! I was able to see two of my grandsons and my granddaughter. My granddaughter will be back today with my great-granddaughter. 🥳

I understand about the dog on the old time schedule. Both of our dogs are on the old schedule. My husband gets up with them at 6:00 a.m to let them out and feed them now. I try to pretend I'm still sleeping 🤪.

You have a Siberian Husky!? I had one for 14 1/2 years and I still miss her so much. Enjoy your baby.

The dog keeps waking us up at 6!! I'm not happy with that score lol. I already wake up a couple of times in the night. I love my sassy kitty. He is a tall and slender boy and, despite being neutered. I read that people call the pads beans on some other social media site so I borrowed it.
How is your wrist healing?

I hear you about the dog, once in a while one of these 2 will bark around 4am, it is aggravating then I can not go back to sleep. I have never heard the phrase toe beans for cat's toes but they did look like beans.

The wrist is still giving me pain but with some things, it is a little better, and doing some things it still hurts a lot. I can not use a hammer at all. This is the second shot he has given me and I do not think I want another one, they are very painful.
