Happy Valentines Day, Alive And Hive friends.
I've returned home from a visit with a longstanding friend. The visit was long overdue. Her rescue cat, Aspen, AKA Swamp Kitty because he was rescued from a swamp near my home, has grown bigger more since I last visited.

We caught up on the current events, children and talked about plans for this year, the Put In Bay weekend trip we're taking the end of May, my visit to Florida Saturday and her next vacation planned Florida vacation scheduled in November. Living in a state that has more shade than sun finds many residents yearning for more sunshine.
We discussed her retirement plan in four years she hopes to retire on the gulf coast of Florida and enjoy sun for her retirement years. I'm leaning in that direction, too.

It's harder and harder to live in the wet and cold temperatures here in Northwestern Pennsylvania. The view is sometimes beautiful when sun hits the snow covered trees. We have some beautiful summer weather a few months out of the year (June - August). Fall is gorgeous in this area and worth seeing, if you've never witnessed a fall in Pennsylvania, I encourage you to take a trip during this season. Winter, I can do without the older I become.
I haven't written about today's hot topic Valentines Day since it has been thoroughly covered and since Jeff and I already celebrated our romance at our Sweetheart Banquet ❤️. He worked in Michigan today and drove to and from there so he put in a long day and is out cold.

I think I'll look for a locket like this. I wore a steampunk watch around my neck for my wedding.
