Foreword
Blessed new year to everyone! With a new year starting, time for me to set goals for this year and start tracking my progress to reach them by the end of the year.
Recap of 2024 goal
Before I discuss about the goal I want to set for 2025, I would want to look at how my 2024 goal land.
The 2 goals I've set for 2024 were:
Primary Goal - Reaching 9000 HP from 5000 HP by end of the year
Secondary Goal - Pulling in primary goal from end of the year to November 30 of last year
Both goals have been reached which allowed me to stretch myself further and achieve more than what I set out, achieving 10k HP right before Christmas which is really so amazing and I am really thankful for all the support I have gotten from the community.

Goals for 2025*
To continue building up what I have currently, I will be setting up a primary goal that will be focused on increasing my Hive Power.
Primary Goal: Reaching 18k HP by 31st December 2025
With the achievement of 5000HP gain in 2024, the goal for 2025 will stretch the limit a little and with an attempt to gain 8000HP this year.
Secondary Goal: Stretch primary goal and push towards 20k HP by 31st December 2025
I know these goals are really lofty and not easy to achieve. But if a goal is so easy to achieve, then it is not being well set. For now this will be the 2 goals I will set for 2025 which aims to further my HP.
Enablers for Goal
There are a couple of things that have worked well for me in 2024 and I know these are key enablers for my goal in 2025. Let's go through them 1 by 1.
Blogging on Hive Blockchain
Blogging on hive blockchain and sharing good content will get picked up by curators which is a very good source for growing HP. One of the key contributors to last year HP accumulation. Another important thing is to always interact with people whom visit your post and also go check out their blogs too.
Layer 2 Token Management
While we blog, it is not just hive that we gain, with the correct use of tags based on their rules and such, we also gain a layer 2 coins as well. For these coins, you can either stake them or repurpose them to other tokens. I stake some and repurpose quite a fair bit of them to build up key tokens that give me passive hive or swap.hive which I will list them down below.
Liquid Hive Sources:
Holding EDSI (previously EDS) tokens - The amount I have yields me 0.108 HIVE per week.
Holding DAB tokens - The amount I have yields me 0.008 HIVE per day.
Holding SIM tokens - The amount I have yields me 0.02 HIVE per day.
Holding BRO tokens - The amount I have yields me 0.039 HIVE per week.
This totals up to 0.343 HIVE per week a slight increase HIVE per week from previous record. Thought I do see liquid Hive from holding SIM dropped a little, so time to get the amount up higher for more liquid. I will also be looking for opportunity to buy EDSI and also BRO to further increase the passive liquid hive.
SWAP.HIVE Sources:
Staking DRIP tokens - The amount I've stake yields me 0.0019 SWAP.HIVE per day.
Holding BBH tokens - The amount I have yields me 0.0052 SWAP.HIVE per week.
This totals up to 0.0185 SWAP.HIVE per week. Compared to those above in liquid hive, this is a smaller amount but this does not mean we do not build up these tokens, as much as I can I do hope to increase a little more on these tokens as well.
dCity.
I started playing dCity last year and it really allowed me to continue building up my SIM tokens which in turn gave me additional liquid hive. Daily management of the city and strengthening the city will definitely increase the SIM amount gained per day and also add on to the SIM token pool that I already have which in turn boost the amount of liquid hive per day.

Rollercoin
A simple play2earn platform with loads of retro games to play while commuting and just need to play once per day to keep your miners running to mine crypto of my choice. Another small source which I haven't activate to transfer in the crypto currency such as LTC but definitely continue to run and will serve as a backup should I am still faraway from my goal by the end of the year.
Closing
It's been a great year of 2024 and it is thanks to all of your support I can be at my current level of HP today. I have setup a much more aggressive goal for 2025 and hoping to be able end off 2025 strongly when the time comes and meeting the goals that I've set today.
