My teachers did use music to make me understand the concepts he taught me. I also, study communication and media studies programme, Where we did my ad courses, and how to create ad jingles for organisations.
This course was basically a three credit units course and a departmental course. It is either I have to pass the course or get a carry-over. So the only way to hit this course being an ad course was for me to listen to giggles related to Ad.
But before that, my lecturer, used a jiggle to portray his content for the ad, before giving it to us as a take homework. He told us that we can't create or excel in ad and content writing without being a lover of music.
So he asked us to listen to any music of our choice and create an ad content and jingles, that would be aired in the school studio. I did, even though I didn't do so well, being the first time I came across what an ad content and story jingles were all about.
Which was quite something different from any other forms of content and story creation. Not as if music were part of the curriculum, but the only thing that would drive the inspiration in, and allow us to follow, was just going with cool music of our choices.
And as I speak, what built up my inspiration for that task, was music. Music gives inspiration, an allows me to follow with the natural, antecedent of what I want to do, more especially if I am writing ad courses. Because that us how I was trained, by my lecturer Dr. John.
Actually, Dr., John didn't end up just asking us to play this music at home, but he came to the examination hall with a music box to help us garner inspiration for the course examination.
That was not permitted by the school authority. But he had to obtained permission from the school authority as a senior lecturer to bring in soundbite into the examination hall.
Since then, other of the lecturers fund interest in it. And throughout my study time in the University, music became one of the major narrative techniques used by my lectures who taught me ad and marketing content creation in school.
So music being in collaborated in school curriculum, will help the students grape some courses better. Like in my case, there is no good ad story that is written without the writer being inspired by music.
That is how ad stories are being created. I write ad stories, most of wished we do in groups. One thing about ad and music is that, if you don't learn how to in collaborate music from school, in the field of practice most likely may not be able to create a good story.
We were not allowed to play music aloud in the school promises, except on special occasions; like events and ad classes and other marketing related courses.
