I live naked and barefooted, very close to Earth and Nature, in an 18-acre, off-grid, clothing-optional, food-forest intentional community (GaiaYoga Gardens), way out in the jungles of Lower Puna, far East Big Island, Hawai'i, and I have for more than 5 years now. Although there are many challenges, I love my life, and I'm immensely grateful to live where and how I do, on my own terms! I would not want to live any other way! 😁🙏💚⚡💥🔥✴️✳️❇️👣🌱✨🤙
Warm greetings all! 😁🙏💚✨🤙
In my post yesterday I mentioned how the internet connectivity on my phone (on the AT&T network) and on my computer (on the community T-Mobile network) disappeared at the same time, and that the internet connection on my phone did return a short time later, but that it remained non-functional on the community network. The community internet connectivity was not usable for most of the day, and even pretty far into the evening, when it spontaneously began working again around 9:30PM, super thankfully. As soon as it was finally functioning correctly again, I got my Qortal node back up and running, which happened quite quickly once internet connectivity was restored.
Across the multiple networks that we've used for internet over the past 5.5 years in this off-grid jungle community, I had never seen two separate networks lose connectivity simultaneously, or the community internet connection become non-functional for such an extended period of time (from around 11AM to about 9:30PM). This is what made me think that the issue was due to a larger attack on internet infrastructure. This is just an idea, and I don't know if it's accurate, but it certainly seemed so at the time.
Since last night, when connectivity returned, our community internet has been stable and working fine up to this point, for which I'm very grateful. The batteries on our solar electrical system also had enough charge to get through the night without crashing (since we still don't have a working generator), so my Qortal minting node has been humming along nicely.
Yesterday, Wednesday, after I finished up my Hive tasks and collected cow-milking food, I walked over to my friend Lea's place in the late afternoon, to spend some time and catch up with her for a bit. Lea is a jungle neighbor who lives very close to GaiaYoga, and whom I've known for years. We have a lot in common in terms of our experiences and perspectives, so our conversations are always very enjoyable and engaging.
As we talked, we shared some wondeful tea, and a little later in the afternoon, we went for a lovely walk down our jungle road. We made our way back just before the sunset, and upon our return to her place, we said our good-byes, and I walked back to GaiaYoga. It was great spending time together and sharing conversation, and we plan to do it again soon.
Once I got back to GaiaYoga, I went straight to the Landing to collect my leftover jar of superfood fire coffee, and then I headed back to the Flow House to dive into my usual evening round of Hive tasks, and to catch up on my notifications. Since we still didn't have working internet on the community connection, Iolanthe came up to the Flow House to hang out for a while, since she was bored. She wanted to show me what she was creating in Minecraft on her phone, and a few other video games that she was playing. Although I was in the middle of catching up on my Hive notifications when she arrived, I paused for a bit to give her my attention. I did do a little more catching up while she was there, but it went much slower than usual, since we were talking too. When she was ready for bed, I walked her back to Tutu's, then I returned to the Flow House to continue with my notifications. Because of my pause and slower progress, I finished a bit later than I had intended, around 12AM, and after some token management, and a quick scan of my X feed, I went to bed around 12:30AM. While I did sleep better than the night before, I still felt like I needed more sleep when I work up just after 7AM. Upon waking, I did a quick round of token management, I started on this post, and then I got out of bed to go make my superfood fire coffee, and to milk the cow with Jo(hanna). When I was done with milking, I returned to the Flow House to write this post. It's now just before 12:15PM, so a very good time to end this post, so that I may get to my few other important Hive tasks, before leaving the Flow House a little later in the afternoon, to first strain and blend kefir (kefir-honey-cinnamon-cacao), and then community/land work. Thankfully I already got a good batch of photos for there posts yesterday and this morning, so that's not very necessary later. I deeply appreciate y'all so very much! Until tomorrow's expression of this post! Always forward, onward, upward, and whaleward, ho, together we go! 😁🙏💚✨🤙
2024 Life Goals
1.) Heal my broken heart, reignite my heart sun, and embody a solid, healthy masculine, allowing my electric fire to shine bright, no matter what others, especially women, say or do.
2.) Bring myself and my life back into balance, integration, and wholeness.
3.) Do regular (naked) integral practices again, alone or with others.
4.) Dance regularly again.
5.) Work with natural entheogens (mushrooms, ganja, ayahuasca), with punctuated regularity, as a part of my healing process again.
6.) Get, and keep, regular deep, integral energy-body-tantric work healing sessions for women flowing again.
7.) Prepare regular batches of my medicinal teas collected from the land again.
8.) Make my plant nursery beautiful again.
9.) Live as an integral part of a juicy heart-resonant soul tribe community, with deep, coherent mutual and shared passion, purpose, mission, love, warmth, care, sweetness, reverence, respect, aliveness, admiration, excitement, enjoyment, playfulness, work, fun, laughter, attraction, and all-level connections and relationships.
10.) Make love with the woman, or the women, that I love, every day, as a sacred devotional practice.
11.) Begin learning relevant coding/programming languages to more fully contribute to the sovereignty-driven technologies where I am active, like Arch Linux, Hive, Qortal, DeSo, and Bastyon.
