At some point in life, we have to go through different kind of circumstances before we can be whatever we want to be. We have to make sure to learned from the past because that is our best teacher. But don't let the emotions of what happened in the past follows you to the present because if that happens, that means your mind is still dwelling in the past and your not ready for current life.

Surely things maybe extremely hard in the past, but the fact that you're able to overcome it means that you have learnt and moved on. Be ready to do anything and go all out there to make things happen because right now is your chance to proved that you have overcome the past. Now is the time to focus be more concerned instead of dwelling in the past that has already gone.
