RE: Dracula's House of Birth - lunch and short but scenery town walk

I'm also glad that we entered Schengen by land, I don't know if you know what it meant until now to cross the border from Romania into Hungary (hours in line, often the drivers' nerves were breaking down and some of them were even arguing among themselves).

And to come back to Sighisoara, I recommend you to visit this city again because it is really worth it, plus you can plan to visit some areas near Sighisoara, it really is a spectacular part of Romania.

Oh, entering Hungary by land was somehow always an awful experience. I crossed that border once and also, I crossed by car from Serbia to Hungary. Border police officers, Hungarians, were extremely rude, searching for cigarettes at some strange places until I started complaining in English asking why are they so rude and that I don't smoke at all. Still, up to this day I remember this experience :)

I hope I have the chance to travel more in Transylvania, I loved almost everything I saw.

Awww, it reminded me of Serbia, I once spent about 3 hours to cross the border from Serbia to Romania, but unfortunately nothing has changed regarding this border today because Serbia is not in the EU.
And yes, I hope that from now on crossing the border between Romania and Hungary will be a pleasure, in the rest of the EU I have never encountered queues through customs, in fact between some countries I didn't even realize when I crossed from one to another, hehe.
I wish you good luck in visiting as many of Romania's amazing places as possible.
Have a wonderful weekend.

I wonder if Serbia will enter EU one day. Unfortunately it won't be soon, I reckon, as their politicians have the opposite partners. When I was living in Sofia, we were spending many weekends in Serbia, wonderful food and drinks, pleasant hosts to our places to stay. I almost understand the language, no matter its grammar is closer to the Russian language than Bulgarian. Bulgaria has agreements with both Turkey and Serbia so we travel with our IDs, no passports necessary but crossing the Serbian border on road E80 is always slow as Turkish Gastarbeiters in Germany, well, other countries as well, use the same road.

Thank you and have a lovely Sunday yourself! :)

I've visited Serbia a few times and I honestly don't even realize if these people need to join the EU.
I really found here everything I needed and even more I was lucky to find great people everywhere, very hospitable people, always ready to help you.

Look, just now I remembered a situation, I was in a public parking lot (with difficulty I found a free parking space) and actually I couldn't pay the parking by phone, I didn't have a Serbia phone number, two young people who were there in the parking lot saw us that we wanted to pay parking and we could not, so they asked us if we want to help us with the parking payment, of course we accepted (the parking payment was made from their cell phone) and so we managed to have parking for a few hours there.

When I wanted to pay them in cash the amount they had paid from their cell phone they didn't accept our money, they simply said that they wanted to help us not to get a fine.

Have a great week ahead!

That's a great experience and memory. Small gestures like this one create strong positive attitude!
Perhaps it is your good soul and aura attracting good people? :)
Some say we are just clouds of particles and everything is energy so it would make some sense we attract the same matter we are built of :)

That was probably too abstract but I have definitely noticed how good things happen to me when I am in a good mood and vice versa :)

I don't recall having any troubles any of the times I traveled to Serbia. Apart from crossing that border with Hungary but then, it wasn't the Serbians but the Hungarian border policemen :)))

Thank you and you too have a great week!

Thank you so much for your comment, and yes, I can say that I can't wait to get to Serbia again, I have so much to discover, aww, I forgot to tell you about the food, simply delicious😉
